Six people who explain the numbers
Median & Moss is a small consultancy in Cuffley, just north of London. We have worked in retail, healthcare, financial services and local government.
How we started
Isla Brennan started Median & Moss in 2014 after ten years running reporting teams. She kept seeing the same pattern: smart organisations making decisions from numbers nobody quite trusted.
The name comes from two ideas. The median is the typical value, not the loudest one. Moss grows slowly on solid ground. We try to do both: find the typical truth in your data, and build something that lasts.
We are based in Cuffley, just north of London, work across the UK and keep the team small on purpose.

Managing director
Isla founded Median & Moss after ten years running reporting teams in retail and public health. She still reviews every board pack we send.
Priya Nair
Head of analytics
Priya leads our analysts. She is known for explaining a regression to a finance director without using the word regression.
Tomasz Kowalski
Data engineering lead
Tomasz builds the pipelines that make reports repeatable. He prefers boring, well-tested tools and tidy documentation.
Daniel Osei
Senior analyst
Daniel works mostly with health and public sector clients, where every number has to stand up to an audit.
Hannah Reeves
Delivery lead
Hannah keeps projects on time and clients informed. If a deadline is at risk, you hear it from her first.
Marcus Lindqvist
Data scientist
Marcus builds our forecasting and modelling work, and writes up the assumptions so you can challenge them.
